Now in version 2.1

Speak your meals.
Note how you feel.

SpeakCal logs what you ate from a single spoken sentence. Version 2.1 adds a short optional check-in after each meal: how did you feel?

Over time, you can look back at your own diary and see whether anything tends to correlate with feeling better or worse.

Your data, your patterns

“Food is information.
So is how you feel after it.”

Most nutrition apps track what goes in. SpeakCal now adds a column for what happens after — a private record you can actually read back.

Optional post-meal check-in.

Your patterns, from your own logs.

On-device — nothing leaves your phone.

Plain language, not clinical framing.

How it works.

Log your meal.

Tap the mic, say what you ate. Same as today. One sentence, full nutrition breakdown.

Note how you feel.

An optional check-in appears after saving. A few taps or a voice note: energy, digestion, whatever is relevant. You can skip it entirely.

See your patterns.

Over time, your diary shows meals alongside your notes. If anything tends to correlate — you will see it. The insight comes from your own data, not an algorithm's guess.

FAQ

Questions.

What does "noting how you feel" mean in the app?

After logging a meal, you can add a short note about how you feel — energy level, digestion, mood. These notes attach to your food diary so you can look back at patterns over time. Available now in version 2.1.

Does SpeakCal connect specific foods to how I feel?

Over time, if you log meals and notes consistently, you can scroll back and see whether certain foods tend to coincide with particular experiences. The patterns come from your own data — SpeakCal does not generate health claims. Available now in version 2.1.

Is this a symptom tracker?

No. SpeakCal is a food diary that lets you note how you feel alongside what you ate. It is not a clinical tool, and it does not diagnose anything. It is a personal record you can read back — or share with a doctor as context.

Can I export my food diary and feel notes?

Yes. You can generate a PDF summary that includes your food log and feel notes — a simple document you can bring to an appointment. This is a Premium feature, available now in version 2.1.

SpeakCal is a food diary. It is not a medical tool and cannot diagnose or treat any condition. Consult a qualified clinician with medical questions.
